Full Inside Flange
The Full Inside Flange is a great upgrade for 3 reasons:
- Cleaner look - hides rough concrete edges
- Better security - more steel to mount the door in place
- Enhanced fire protection - Adds another layer of fireproof steel for protection
The full inside flange comes as 3 steel plates that bolt on to the back flange of the door frame. These pieces are painted to match the rest of the door. The flange pieces conceal the rough concrete edge of the door rough opening and create a professional finished look. The extra layer of steel ads to the security of the door by strengthening the connection to the wall and allowing for more mounting locations. The flanges also increase the fire protection of the door by creating another fire proof barrier to stop flames and embers from entering the vault room in case of a fire.
All full inside flange upgrades come with concrete anchor bolts included.
